After a quick 2.5 hour flight from Uluru, we landed in Cairns and headed up the eastern coast to Cape Tribulation, one of the many jumping off points to the Great Barrier Reef. We visited the Daintree Rainforest, a World Heritage site, stopping along the way at some great viewpoints overlooking the Australian coastline.
