Spent a fun (and full) evening when I first landed in Hobart at the annual food and wine festival, Taste of Tasmania. We explored all the food stalls, finally "settled" with Tasmanian lamp chops and ended the evening with ice cream and pancakes. On the walk back to the car, through a light drizzle, a rainbow appeared across the harbor just as the sun was starting to set. An auspicious beginning to my Tasmania adventures! Thank you Kerri and Diane, new friends from the Africa portion of my journey, for a great time in Hobart!
